The admission to the Doctoral School of the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wrocław begins on 1 of July 2021 and ends on 30 of September 2021.
Admission Terms

The admission procedure to the Doctoral School is held as a competition and includes four stages, checking the following aspects:

1. candidate’s artistic or scientific achievements – and, in case of composers, 5 works for varied performing groups – which show a broad spectrum of the candidate's compositional technique (STAGE I is held without the candidate's participation on 17 of September 2021 - Friday)

2. an artistic performance or a spoken presentation on a topic selected by the National Court Register or a self-presentation of a composer - in accordance with the selected scope of education at the Doctoral School (STAGE II – 20 of September 2021 - Monday)

3. humanistic competences and a spoken presentation on a topic related to the area of ​​the planned doctoral dissertation (STAGE III - September 21, 2021 - Tuesday)

4. level of a foreign language proficiency, if the candidate does not have the appropriate language certificate (English, German, Italian) (STAGE IV – 21 of September 2021 - Tuesday). The list of respected certificates is included in the Appendix No. 2 of the Admission Terms.

The admission limit to the Doctoral School of AMKL for the academic year 2021/2022 is 2.

Note:
The candidate submits documentation in both paper and electronic versions.
The Academy does not provide candidates with accompanists.
