Artur Wróbel

Habilitated doctor of musical art in the artistic discipline: conducting. He works as an assistant professor at the Music Academy of Karol Lipiński in Wrocław, where he teaches choral conducting class and the Academic Choir Feichtinum. Since 2004, he has been working at the State Secondary Music School of Ryszard Bukowski in Wrocław, where he leads the Orchestra, Choir and Vocal Ensemble.
He collaborated as a conductor with the Symphony Orchestra of the Sudeten Philharmonic in Wałbrzych, the Chamber Orchestra of the Music Academy of K. Lipiński in Wrocław, the Symphony Orchestra of the Lower Silesian Philharmonic in Jelenia Góra, the Musical Theater in Lublin. In the years 2006–2008 he was also an assistant conductor at the Wrocław Opera. He collaborated with Polish and foreign artistic agencies, giving concerts with various choral and orchestral ensembles in Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Austria and Poland in the best concert halls. In the years 2008-2017 he was the artistic director and conductor of the Cantilen Chamber Male Choir.
He also participates as a juror in many international festivals and choir competitions, including Saint Petersburg (Russia), Pons (France).
He is the author of papers presented at scientific conferences on music education and choral music, among others University of Sobral in Brazil. He was the organizer and artistic director of the Wrocław International Choir Festival Vratislavia Sacra, as well as the International Eurochestries Festival Lower Silesia in Świeradów Zdrój, presenting youth orchestral and choir groups. He is the founder and artistic director of the student Symphony Orchestra ArtBel Ensemble, with which he performed a number of concerts, including in Wrocław, Lubiąż, Krefeld (Germany), and Vienna in the prestigious Konzerthaus Hall, Riva del Garda and Montecatini Terme in Italy.
He is a laureate of many individual awards: the Badge of Honor for Merit to Polish Culture, awarded by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage, the Bronze Medal for Long Service awarded by the President of the Republic of Poland, the Rector's Award of the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wrocław, Award of the Director of the Music Education Center, Award of the Director of the Ryszard Bukowski Secondary Muisc School in Wrocław.
