The Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wrocław has been involved in publishing since 1970, when the first scientific publication came out under the auspices of the Academy. During the last 40 years it has published a total of 150 monographs, course books, collective works, periodicals and sheet music. The scope of their subject matter is reflected in the titles of its major publishing series, which are given below. The Publishing House contributes to popularizing the scientific and artistic achievements of the Academy staff members and documents the Academy’s scientific conferences. It makes various areas of knowledge connected with musical culture available both to professionals and to lovers of music who seek opportunities to pursue their interests.
