Recruitment of candidates for auditions for the European Union Youth Orchestra (EUYO)
We announce the opening of the call for candidates for auditions for the European Union Youth Orchestra (EUYO). This orchestra brings together young, talented musicians between the ages of 16 and 26 who are citizens of European Union member states. Qualification for the orchestra is carried out by the EUYO management in each European country.
Auditions of musicians in Poland will take place in the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music on November 2–3, 2024 (Saturday and Sunday) at the university's headquarters in Warsaw (2 Okólnik Street).
In order to qualify for on-site auditions, candidates must successfully pass the First Round, which will be held in Poland for the first time. To do so, they must submit a video recording by September 30, 2024, meeting the requirements set by EUYO. Those who qualify for the traditional auditions will have the opportunity to perform any piece accompanied by a pianist-accompanist.
Please be advised that The Karol Lipinski Academy of Music does not cover the costs associated with the candidates' travel and accommodation in Warsaw.
