Due to the flood risk situation, the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wrocław has undertaken a series of actions aimed at ensuring the safety of its community members and securing the institution's property. A Crisis Team has been appointed at the Academy, which is working closely with the relevant teams from public universities in Wrocław as well as with the municipal and regional crisis management teams. So far, the following have been secured: the Academy’s main archive, musical instruments, computer equipment, costumes, and stage sets used in opera performances. Additionally, the underground parking garage in Building E has been closed due to the flood risk.

At the same time, we would like to inform you that the recruitment processes, including admissions to the doctoral school and exams conducted as part of the resit session, are proceeding according to the dates posted on the Academy's website. We kindly ask you to keep up to date with the announcements, which will be published on the Academy's website, as well as the communications from the safety authorities.

We sincerely hope that the flood risk will not affect your homes in any way and will not endanger your safety or that of your loved ones. Kindness, empathy, and, if necessary, practical assistance, combined with the knowledge that we can count on each other, are paramount in these extraordinary circumstances.
