Amelia Golema PhD
Assistant Professor at the Academy of Music in Wrocław, PhD in Psychology (University of Wrocław, Institute of Psychology, 2012), graduate of the Faculty of Instrumental Studies (Master of Arts, 1999) and Postgraduate Studies in Music Therapy at the Academy of Music in Wrocław, as well as Postgraduate Studies in Logorithmics at the Academy of Music in Gdańsk and in Logopedics at the University of Wrocław.
She has completed internships and delivered lectures at, among others, the Mozarteum (Salzburg - Austria), the University of Bologna (Italy), the University of Jyväskylä (Finland), Leiden (the Netherlands) and many centres in Poland (among others, as part of training at the Centre for Artistic Education and the Centre for Education of Teachers of Artistic Schools). Since 2001, she has regularly conducted consultations, lectures and expert workshops for teachers, parents and students of first and second level music schools, as well as professional artists throughout Poland.
She collaborates with many cultural institutions (e.g. the NFM in Wrocław, the Kraków Philharmonic, the Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław, the Academy of Theatre Arts in Wrocław, the Academy of Art in Szczecin, the Lower Silesian Music Society, the Capitol Studio in Wrocław), providing individual consultations and classes to support the artistic development of young people, artists and staff. Until 2024 supervisor of the Artistic and Scientific Circle of Music Education, she also conducts open consultations in the field of psychology of music for students of the Academy of Music.
Author of dozens of scientific and popular articles, chapters in monographs, co-author of a guide for parents of children from music schools ‘My child no longer wants to play - briefly on how to help him’. Initiator and co-founder of the Innovative Centre for the Development of the Artist ICRA, within which she runs her own programme ‘Psychological Performance Apparatus’.
