We would like to kindly inform you that due to the flood emergency, all events planned within the Lower Silesian Science Festival from 17 September to 21 September 2024 have been cancelled.

 

Lower Silesian Science Festival

The XXVII edition of the Lower Silesian Science Festival, which this year takes place under the slogan “TRENCH YOUR MIND!”, will be launched on September 14. This event, as every year, is an opportunity to meet with science in its most interesting and engaging forms. The organizers of the festival include The Karol Lipinski Academy of Music in Wroclaw and 11 other Wroclaw public universities.

The Academy co-organizes lectures, workshops such as:

1. “Tune In: Discover the world of music therapy”

2. “Music therapy for the smallest”

3. “On music dangerous and harmful to humans”

4. “The relationship of film and song. Reconnaissance”

5. “Training life skills of visually impaired children through tiflomusicotherapeutic interactions”

6. “Train the mind! - Musical exercises for improving memory”

7. “Sound worlds of female composers from Wroclaw”

8. “Musical training of the body”

The last of the events organized by the Academy at the Lower Silesian Science Festival is the Final Concert entitled “Tango - musical training of emotions”. The event will take place on September 20, 2024 at 6:00 pm in the Oratorium Marianum in the Main Building of the University of Wroclaw at 1 University Square.
