On 1 October 2024, the Inauguration of the Academic Year 2024/2025 of the University of Wrocław took place in the Leopoldina Auditorium of the University of Wrocław. We invite you to watch a video recording of this event.

During the Environmental Inauguration of the Academic Year 2024/2025, the Wrocław Academic Award was also presented. This year's laureates were Prof. Stanisław Bereś, PhD, and - something our academic community is particularly excited about - Prof. Marek Pijarowski, PhD! The award is conferred on outstanding artists whose achievements of an interdisciplinary nature have a particular impact on the integration of the academic community of Wrocław. Champions of Wrocław's scientific and artistic community are awarded. Congratulations!
