The WBB Orchestra
The WBB Orchestra (Wrocław, Bydgoszcz, Brno) project is a unique initiative promoting early music, in which students from Poland and the Czech Republic participate. Working together on Baroque repertoire on historical instruments is not only an opportunity to get to know the musical traditions of the neighbouring countries, but also a chance for the artistic development of young musicians and an international exchange of experience. The orchestra performs works by Polish and Czech composers of the 17th and 18th centuries, in the spirit of historical performance practice.
The project includes three concerts:
- 10 January 2025 (Friday) at the Feliks Nowowiejski Academy of Music in Bydgoszcz,
- 11 January 2025 (Saturday) at the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wrocław,
- 6 April 2025 (Sunday) at the Leoš Janáček Academy of Performing Arts in Brno.
