We are happy to announce that during the festive celebration of the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music, on February 24, 2025, a unique event took place - the awarding of prof. dr hab. Marek Pijarowski, an outstanding conductor and pedagogue at the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wrocław, with the Medal for Meritorious Service to the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music. Professor Marek Pijarowski has been shaping the artistic sensitivity of students for years, and his conducting activities have brought recognition both at home and abroad, so it was with great joy that we received the news of his award.

During the ceremony, many outstanding artists were awarded. The Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wrocław was represented on that day by the Vice-Rector for Evaluation and Cooperation with Foreign Countries, PhD Aleksandra Pijarowska, Prof. of AMKL.

We are immensely pleased with another success of our pedagogue and congratulate all the awarded and distinguished!
