New chamber ensemble - the Lipiński Quartet
We are pleased to announce the establishment of a new chamber ensemble at the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wroclaw - the Lipiński Quartet string quartet. The creation of this kind of formation operating within the walls of our Academy opens new paths of artistic development. The ensemble draws inspiration from the traditions and character of the patron of our University - Karol Lipinski, an outstanding violinist and composer, whose heritage is particularly close to us. The establishment of the Lipinski Quartet will enrich the university's artistic offer through concerts, workshops and joint projects with young musicians.
Instrumentalists of the Lipinski Quartet share a passion for performing chamber music, but also soloist and pedagogical activity. They have won prizes in renowned competitions and actively participate in many international festivals, such as the Warsaw Autumn Festival, Crazy Days of Music, Vevey Spring Classic, the Felix Mendelssohn Chamber Music Festival in Duszniki-Zdrój and the International Wratislavia Cantans Festival. The musicians are also joined on a daily basis by the renowned NFM Orchestra Leopoldinum, operating in one of the most important musical venues on the map of Europe - the National Forum of Music in Wroclaw.
