Prof. dr hab. Marek Pijarowski is another teacher of AMKL, whose name appeared on the honorary plaque before the National Forum of Music. Earlier, in March last year, prof. Grażyna Pstrokońska-Nawratil was singled out in the same way.

Prof. dr hab. Marek Pijarowski, Doctor Honoris Causa AMKL, this year celebrates its 70th anniversary of birthday and 50 years of artistic work. In October, a Jubilee was held at the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music, and less than a month later it was time to celebrate at the National Music Forum - on November 6, Maestro performed the third symphony in E flat Major, Op. 55 "Eroica" by Ludwig van Beethoven. Before the concert, a plaque commemorating the collaboration of Professor with the Wroclaw Philharmonic (now NFM) was unveiled. Maestro was associated with the institution from 1974 to 2002. From 1980, for the next 22 years, he served as its chief and artistic director, initially also taking care of the organization of the International Festival Wratislavia Cantans.
