The Artist Development Center of the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wrocław invites you to take part in the Summer Tones Academy, which will be held from July 1 to 6, 2025, at the Wrocław Academy of Music.

Participation is open to individuals over the age of 12 who are actively involved in the field of music, including:

• former and current students of music schools
• former and current students of music academies
• graduates of music academies
• teachers at music schools and universities
• individuals engaged in other forms of music education

The program includes:

• Individual lessons
• Group workshops*
• Accompaniment*
• Chamber music ensembles*
• Vocal-acting classes*
• Lectures
• Final concert

*depending on the option selected by the participant

1. INSTRUMENTAL COURSE

Course program includes 4 individual instrumental lessons with a selected teacher in:

2. VOCAL COURSE

Course program includes 4 singing lessons with a selected teacher:

• dr hab. Olga Ksenicz - historical singing
• mgr Agata Chodorek  -  solo singing  

Also in the program:

• 3 lessons in vocal-acting scenes.
• opportunity to work with an accompanist.

• opportunity to participate in the Participants’ Concert.

3. CHORAL CODUCTING

Course program includes 4 choral conducting lessons with a selected teacher:

Workshop: Voice Projection – 2 teaching hours
Conducted by: mgr Magdalena Wojtas

Lectures supporting the development of musicians' musical, social, and cognitive skills.

4. COMPOSITION

Course Program includes 4 composition lessons with a selected teacher:

• dr hab. Adam Porębski - Composer's course

• Aural training and musical imagination classes – 1 didactic hour
• Lectures supporting the development of musical, social, and cognitive competencies of musicians.

5. AURAL TRAINING AND MUSICAL IMAGINATION

Course program includes 4 lessons, each lasting 45 minutes, based on innovative aural training teaching methods. The goal is to present topics related to music perception and introduce exercises that influence the development of musical imagination.

COST: 94€ (including 58 € + registration fee 36 €)   (including: 250 PLN + 150 PLN)

6. MUSICAL WORK ANALYSIS

Course program includes 4 lessons, each lasting 45 minutes, aimed at learning tools and methods for working with musical material.

COST: 94€ (including: 58 € + registration fee 36 €)

7. MUSIC IN NEW MEDIA – SOUND PRODUCTION AND DESIGN* 

Course program includes 12 hours of instructional workshops (4 days × 3 teaching hours per day).
During the course, participants will gain a basic and practical understanding of tools for sound creation and design, including: Ableton Live + grid controllers, basic Max for Live, selected interaction techniques, and sound synthesis.

*A course for participants aged 15 and above.
Note: Basic computer literacy is required.

COST: 188€ (including: 152€ + registration fee 36 €)

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
At the moment of submitting the application, the person interested in participating in the Summer Tones Academy 2025 is a Candidate. Only after receiving the acceptance confirmation from the Organizer and subsequently paying the Course fee by June 11, 2025, does the Candidate become a full Participant of the Course.

APPLICATIONS FOR MINORS
For minors, i.e., individuals who are under 18 years old at the time of submitting the application, the registration for participation in the Summer Tones Academy is made by their legal representatives or guardians by completing the online Registration Form: https://forms.gle/S9hWkP6fqAWzzYa86.

In addition to the online form, a supplementary form must be downloaded. A scanned copy of the completed and signed document should be sent to: alt@amkl.edu.pl by May 28, 2025.

• You can book extra one-to-one lessons with a selected teacher (subject to availability and prior arrangement). Fee: 200 PLN per lesson.
