We are delighted to announce that prof. dr hab. Marek Pijarowski has been honoured with the Wrocław Science Award. The award ceremony took place on 1 October 2024 in the Leopoldina Hall in the main building of the University of Wrocław during the ceremonial Inauguration of the Academic Year 2024/2025 of the Universities of Wrocław and Opole.

The award is given to outstanding artists whose achievements of an interdisciplinary nature have a particular impact on the integration of the academic community of Wrocław. It is awarded to the Maestros and Masters of Wrocław's scientific and artistic community. The immense achievements of Maestro Marek Pijarowski and his extraordinary impact on the artistic community both in Poland and internationally have been recognised by the Chapter of the Wrocław Academic Award.
