On 30 September 2021, in Oratorium Marianum Hall of the University of Wroclaw, took place the Inauguration of the Academic Year 2021/2022, which was attended by Rectors of Wroclaw and Opole universities, Vice Rectors of Wroclaw universities, as well as students and invited guests. The ceremony was attended by Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, who delivered a speech addressed to the academic community and Minister Andrzej Dera - Secretary of State in the Chancellery of the President of Poland, who read a letter on behalf of the President of Poland Andrzej Duda.

Dr Adam Porębski became a laureate of the 9th edition of the MOZART Programme which creates a partnership between entrepreneurs and scientists of Wrocław. Porębski's awarded “Sound project” is a sound system which uses identification analysis and conversion of biometric data of the iris with the sound development of the PayEye logo.
"Triptyque" is the latest composition by Agata Zubel premiered on 7 of February. The piece was performed by Ensemble InterContemporain and it's available on the France Musique app from 24 of March.
