The guest of the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wrocław was prof. dr hab. Lidia Grychtołówna – a renowned pianist, pedagogue and long-standing juror of the International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw. On 31st May she conducted a master class in piano playing, which was culminate in an extraordinary piano recital.
The Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wroclaw has been nominated by its students and has been nominated as a student-friendly institution in the 2022 Education Poll. The nomination for the award for the most liked and valued academic teachers was given to dr hab. Viktor Kuznetsov.
We are delighted to announce that prof. dr hab. Marek Pijarowski has been honoured with the Wrocław Science Award.

As always, everything to listen to music with passion and hear more and more.
We encourage you to participate in the 3rd edition of the scholarship and mentorship programme of the National Polish Radio Symphony Orchestra. Recruitment is currently underway for the following categories: flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, French horn, percussion, violin, viola, cello and double bass. Applications, along with audio-video recordings, can be sent in until 15 September this year.
Katarzyna Bem, a graduate in composition in the class of dr hab. Cezary Duchnowski, prof. AMKL, is among the 15 laureates of the 7th edition of the Artistic Scholarship of the President of Wroclaw. As part of the programme, which is one of the most important in Wrocław's culture, the artist will make an album of compositions inspired by the folk songs of Lower Silesia.
